Meet Rosie

I’m Rosie, a single mom to two daughters, which happen to be the most coolest, utmost awesome girls you could ever meet. With all girls, there is never a dull moment in this household. My oldest is 15 years old; she loves reading books and has her own book review blog: Red Sands Reviews and Ramblings. My youngest is 11 years old and she’s into sports, especially soccer.

I originally started this blog, because people have complimented me on my confidence, drive and ambition. Yet, at times, I felt like I had none of those qualities. But I push myself; I take risks because I want a better life. I have goals and dreams that I want to achieve. Sometimes, I make the wrong choices but I am learning. I started to blog to encourage myself to keep following my dreams.

In the last few years, I’ve had some crazy curve balls thrown at me. As doors kept closing, I kept wondering what I should do. When I looked in the mirror, I noticed that the woman looking back was not happy. I hadn’t been lively for a very long time. As moms, we are nurturers, and we forget that we need to take care of ourselves first before we can help anyone else.

In January 2014, I decided to sell everything I owned and move across country. I’m now starting over. A new pattern. A new wave of emotions. A new connection to the world. A new belief system in myself.

Join me on my new adventure, won’t you?

I nominated you for a challenge 10 line poem it has to have four words on each line (only four) and the word LOVE has to be on each line. Hope you are okay with doing this. I think it was fun after I got started

Somehow I’ve missed your comment Ellen. I’m brave? I’d call moving from Minnesota to another country just a brave. 🙂 Moving back to family and friends made the move a lot easier. For me, it was much harder to live somewhere that I never fitted in or belonged…to somewhere that I can finally call home.

Rosie… I love your little place over here… I am new at blogging but learned a lot in Blogging 101. You just found yourself a new follower… such a happy place to have a cup of coffee and chat for a while! 😀

Rosie: Firstly, I love your banner with the roses. I have been struggling with how to do something like this. I also love the different headings at the top (About Me; Blog, etc). Second, I am impressed by how many followers you have. Part of the reason for me taking the course is to learn how to get more followers.
